The brief was to showcase the re-issue of their vintage G-Shock watches. The theme was based around the idea of time warping.
At the heart of this animation is a paradox: a watch — an object whose entire purpose is to measure and contain time — becomes the thing that breaks it. The G-Shock is not a passive product being shown off. It is the protagonist. An unstoppable object meets an immovable force.
The "time warp" is not treated as a sci-fi cliché or a visual gimmick. It's a metaphor for what the G-Shock has always represented: a refusal to submit to the ordinary rules of wear, damage, and obsolescence.
